Client Requirements

Our client, a specialist food and beverage consultancy based in the UK, was looking for an experienced and knowledgeable specialist to carry out comprehensive market research in the food and dairy industry sector for major international organizations.

The research would involve delving deep into the sector, exploring emerging trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior to gain an accurate understanding of the market.

It was also required to have a strong research background, be highly analytical, and have an in-depth understanding of the industry, as well as to possess excellent communication and writing skills (in Spanish and English) in order to effectively convey their findings in a clear and concise manner.

The Methodology

The in-depth market research was conducted for Mexico, Chile, and Peru. It included interviews with key stakeholders in each country, a comprehensive review of competitive landscapes, and the collection of data from multiple sources.

The research provided the insights needed to develop a comprehensive understanding of the local markets in Mexico, Chile, and Peru.

The Outcomes

This research entailed primary investigation, both by phone and in person, and cold calls, emails, and chatting with associated industry agents (public bodies, traders, producers, supply chain agents, etc.).

Additionally, secondary research was conducted to gain further insight into the food and beverage industry. This included research on current production, import and export, and consumption levels.

To take the research a step further, analytical data was gathered to generate estimates and forecasts for the coming years.
