Very basic but yet an effective course. An easy explanation of different processes of a Supply Chain. The mentor has explained everything through pictures and flow charts which made it easy to understand. He has also provided the slides used in the course for later reference. Good for anyone who is new to the Supply Cain. I really wish him to create a more detailed and advanced course.

Client Requirements

The client required comprehensive packaging solutions for their vertical farming product for their supermarket in the EU region. This was a complex requirement, as the product had to be packaged in a way that would protect the integrity of the product, while also ensuring compliance with EU regulations.

Our Methodology

Once the product specifications and logistics were obtained, the research phase began in earnest. A detailed inventory of the products and components, along with their volumes and other relevant details, was compiled.

Subsequently, a rigorous process of identifying and researching promising manufacturers was undertaken. Once the initial list of manufacturers was generated, a thorough screening process was implemented to ensure they had the capability to provide the necessary quality assurance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Additional factors such as production scale, past client references, and technological capacity were also taken into account. Finally, the remaining manufacturers were evaluated against each other to determine which one was the best fit.

To meet this need, our team conducted a thorough assessment of the product and its intended environment to come up with the most suitable packaging design. This evaluation included considerations such as the material used, the overall dimensions, and the ease of assembly.

We also evaluated the impact of the packaging on the environment and ensured that it was in line with EU environmental standards.

The Outcomes

We were delighted to have successfully provided the client with the precise packaging solution that met their precise needs. The final outcome was the selection of the most appropriate packaging to be used in supermarkets.

We provided the client with a comprehensive list of potential manufacturers and their details, allowing them to make an informed decision based on their specific requirements.

Throughout the process, we kept the client updated on our progress, providing them with the support they needed to make the best possible decision.
