The client is looking forward to installing a mobile shelving in one of their warehouses. This was done to increase the efficiency of the warehouse and inventory management system. The 3 key elements that are required for this installation would be the supply racks, mobile parts and the installation services. Many factors were considered before conducting this project, such as the available space, characteristics of product, load factor and power connections.
First and foremost, the specifications and the logistics of the product were studied, and this includes things like descriptions, BOM, volumes, dates, etc. Then, research was conducted on the specific industry to ensure that each product is in compliance with the specification. Next, multiple manufacturers were contacted and their samples were sent out to them. Finally, a list of suppliers is obtained.
The final outcome was a list of suppliers that would be able to provide the mobile shelving installation for this project.
