The event, titled “Lean projects in Manufacturing, Warehousing or Logistics,” served as a beacon for professionals across various domains within the supply chain industry. Its allure lay in its ability to draw a diverse audience, comprising warehouse employees, logistics staff, managers, leaders, improvement coaches, and anyone eager to delve deeper into the intricacies of lean processes.

As one of the lead speakers at this prestigious gathering, I found myself at the epicenter of a knowledge exchange that transcended conventional boundaries. My role afforded me the invaluable opportunity to impart insights gleaned from a myriad of successful lean implementation projects undertaken in the logistics and supply chain management sectors, spanning multinational companies of varied scales and industries.

Throughout my presentation, I endeavored to distill the essence of lean methodologies into actionable insights, elucidating on its cardinal principles: the relentless pursuit of waste minimization, the relentless drive for operational efficiency maximization, and the relentless commitment to perpetual process improvement.

Central to our discourse was the pivotal role of nurturing a culture steeped in the ethos of continuous improvement. We underscored the imperative of fostering an environment wherein every individual feels not only empowered but also compelled to contribute their perspectives, ideas, and feedback proactively.

In reflecting on the success of the event, it behooves us to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nora Freimane and Anita Stukane for extending their gracious invitation, thereby affording us the privilege to participate in this august assembly. Their visionary stewardship was instrumental in curating an environment conducive to the unfettered exchange of ideas and experiences.

Indeed, it was an honor and a privilege to be counted among the distinguished cohort of speakers and participants who converged upon this forum. Each interaction, discourse, and revelation served to enrich our collective understanding of lean practices and their transformative potential within the realm of manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.

I believe that it is healthy laziness that moves the world and business forward, and I am always ready to help find the most effective and appropriate solutions concerning strategic and change management, as well as various efficiency solutions in office work.

As a practicing consultant in Latvia, I already have 20 years of experience in various fields related to the optimization of organizational management:

  • I can help with advice on implementing the Balanced Scorecard system,
  • I have experience in creating IT and document management system modernization strategies,
  • I am a certified European ergonomist, and therefore we can work together on modern office solutions that both increase work efficiency and create comfortable and health-friendly workplaces.

I am constantly updating my knowledge both informally – following everything new in my areas of competence, and also formally: I have master’s degrees in pedagogy, economics, nutrition science, and modeling of sociotechnical systems. In 2021, I was a full-time student again for 1 semester – at the University of Buffalo (USA).

It is this unique “set” that allows me to view various processes, trends, and organizational needs holistically, offering realistic and at the same time modern solutions.

I also share my experience with students of various Latvian universities, I have given lectures in Lithuania, Germany, and Moldova as part of the Erasmus+ program, as well as participated in the international Sail program.

I also like to conduct corporate training.
