On January 19, 2023, professionals from the Business Efficiency Association (BEA) invited us to share our knowledge and experience on lean implementations in the logistics industry.
The event, titled “Lean projects in Manufacturing, Warehousing or Logistics,” was attended by a diverse audience comprised of warehouse employees, logistics staff, managers, leaders, improvement coaches, and anyone interested in learning more about lean processes.
As a lead speaker at the event, I had the opportunity to share the experience and insights gained from various successful lean implementation projects in logistics and supply chain management for multinational companies. The presentation focused on the key principles of lean methodologies, including minimizing waste, maximizing efficiency, and continuously improving processes.
We emphasized the importance of creating a culture of continuous improvement, it is vital to foster an environment where employees are encouraged to share their ideas and feedback openly.
